MHCC Theatre Department

The project, designed for a production of Jesus Christ Superstar, draws inspiration from the play’s thematic connection to 1970s glam rock. Embracing a minimalistic approach to the artwork reflects themes of androgyny, in contrast to traditional biblical depictions, while the supporting elements and vibrant color palette evoke the stage presence of the era, creating a starstruck effect on the passerby.
